Ellen Wermter is a family nurse practitioner and diplomate in behavioral sleep medicine (DBSM). She is a dedicated sleep professional who actively treats patients full time at Charlottesville Neurology and Sleep Medicine in Virginia. In addition to her clinical work, she is a regular contributor with the Better Sleep Council as well as other media outlets about the science of sleep and healthy rest. Nationally regarded for her expertise in narcolepsy, Ellen enjoys sharing her expertise in the sleep field through guest lecturing at universities and other speaking engagements. She is a member of the medical advisory board for Narcolepsy Network.

Dr. Aimee Strong is a Board-Certified Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner working in a lung cancer screening program at UVA. She began her nursing career with an Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1995. She completed her Bachelor's in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 and received her Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2013 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University in 2019.
