Ms. White is the Pharmacy Lead in the Ambulatory Care, the Residency Program Director for the UVA PGY2 Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Residency and a clinical assistant professor for the VCU School of Pharmacy. Currently she serves in the Internal Medicine Clinic, where patients are referred for hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, anticoagulation, and tobacco cessation. She also serves in the Diabetes, Cardiology, Metabolic Clinic as well as a Hospital Follow Up Clinic focusing on tightness of chest and decreasing hospital readmissions. She has been instrumental in initiating and implementing a University wide population health program where UVA pharmacists complete medication reconciliation on all insured employees and their families. She received a BS in Pharmacy from MCV/VCU and has been a certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 1998, Board Certified in Ambulatory Care Pharmacist since 2011. She is certified in immunization delivery and medication therapy management.

Debbie is a Nurse Practitioner at the Parkinson's Disease Research, Education, and Clinical Care Center (PADRECC) at McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. She received a BS in Nursing from The Medical College of Georgia in 1983 and master's degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. Debbie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
Debbie joined the PADRECC team in 2015. As part of her duties for the PADRECC center at the Richmond VA, Debbie utilizes Telehealth to see Veterans who live remotely with Parkinson's Disease as well as face-to-face encounters. She helps to facilitate the Parkinson's Disease support group and the National Movement Disorder Series for the VA hospital systems.
