Anthony Miller, M.Ed., PA-C
Anthony A. Miller (Tony) is a Distinguished Professor and former director, Division of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University. He has over 42 years' experience in PA education and has held educational leadership positions including Associate Dean, School of Allied Health and Founding Chair, Department of PA Studies at the Medical College of Ohio (now University of Toledo). He has been a leader for state and national physician assistant professional associations including the President of the Physician Assistant Education Association) and President of the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants. He chaired the APAP Degree Task Force that in 2000 recommended PA education be delivered at the graduate level. He is currently a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Physician Assistant Education and the AAPA's Commission on Research and Strategic Initiatives.
Professor Miller was a trustee for the PA Foundation and former member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants' Leadership Advisory Commission, and the AAPA Education Council. He currently serves as board member the Medical Society of Virginia Foundation. Miller consults with New England Journal of Medicine Group on clinical reasoning related to their web-based clinical problem solving Healer product. He consults with educational institutions across the United States on matters of curriculum development, evaluation, and accreditation as well as PA program development. From 2012 through 2016, Mr. Miller served as the Chief Policy & Research Officer for the Physician Assistant Education Association based in Washington, DC.
He has created and lead several faculty development workshops for new faculty and emerging leaders in PA education. In October 2000, Mr. Miller received the Association of Physician Assistant Programs' Master Teacher Award. He has many scholarly articles and presentations including chapters in PA books. He was an editor of Lange's Q&A Physician Assistant Examination for editions two through six. He is one of the founders of the national student challenge bowl.

Randy Howell, DHSc, PA-C
Randy currently practices Emergency Medicine at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. He is the PA/NP Emergency Medicine Fellowship Director at Carilion Clinic, and an associate director of the Wilderness Medicine Fellowship at Carilion Clinic.
He started practice in rural, underserved primary care with the National Health Services Corps, and worked in orthopedic surgery prior to transitioning to Emergency Medicine.
His did his undergraduate work at Virginia Tech, his PA at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and Doctorate in Health Sciences at A.T. Still University.
He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Radford University Carilion, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Innovation and Implementation Science at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
He serves on the Board of Directors for the Appalachian Center for Wilderness Medicine. He is a core instructor for Blue Ridge Adventure Medicine.

Robert Hadley, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA
Robert D. Hadley is a faculty member at the Jefferson College of Health Sciences PA Program. He has been involved in PA education since 1997, when he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina PA program. He has been at JCHS for the past 5 years. Dr. Hadley has practiced in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Urgent Care. He currently practices part time in the Carilion Community Care Clinic in addition to his duties at JCHS, where he teaches Clinical Medicine and the application of Evidence-Based Medicine. Dr. Hadley's interest in diabetes stems from his love of pathophysiology, and his years in Internal Medicine at at time when options for treating diabetes were rapidly expanding. In addition to his interests in medicine and PA education, Dr. Hadley has held several positions within national PA organizations, and he enjoys carpentry, computers and web design, and horse training.

Kim Ford is currently the Orthopedic Technician Team Lead for Carilion Clinic Orthopedics. He has been with the Carilion Health System for 30 years and has been working with the Orthopedic Department for the past 20 years doing casting, splinting, and bracing.
He is currently over all of Carilion's Orthopedic Clinics and works with Jefferson College of Health Sciences and their Physician Assistant program providing a casting/splinting beginner course, and as as clinical instructor during the students' Orthopedic rotation. He is also very active in teaching casting and splinting classes for any interested Orthopedic practices.
