Mary Beth Petrasek, PA-C

Mary Beth Petrasek, a Physician Assistant currently working at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Washington DC. Ms Petrasek holds undergraduate degrees from Penn State University, Point Park College and Duke University where she attended PA School. Post-Graduate study includes a Master’s Degree from Long Island University and Surgical Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.
Ms Petrasek recently completed the certifying exam for Medicolegal Death Investigators and is a Diplomat with the American Board of Medicolegal Investigators

During the 25 years Ms Petrasek has been a PA she has worked in the specialties of Surgery with emphasis on General/Trauma and Pediatrics as well as Emergency Medicine from the Midwest to the Mid Atlantic region. At her present position she investigates deaths that fall under the jurisdiction of the DC Medical Examiner. This job takes her to all areas of the city. The best thing is that she learns something new everyday.

Ms Petrasek is married to a wonderful man who is quite handy around the house. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family.
